The Reason for XCIDIA’s Birth

XCIDIA was formed for the purpose of creating an environment where makers, designers and others that deal with exceptional Japanese products can easily connect to retailers and other buyers abroad.

XCIDIA’s Birthplace

XCIDIA was born in the United States in September 2006. Our main office is located in San Bruno, California, just north of San Francisco. Our Japan office is based out of Tokyo.

Origin of Logo & Company Name

“To become a bridge, crossing oceans to providing a flow of exciting goods through commerce” With that sort of goal in mind, our company name was created by combining the English word “excite” and the Italian word “dia,” meaning provide. Thus “XCIDIA” was born!
Our logo was crafted with the image in mind of pushing through language barriers and complicated trade practices, while allowing products to cross over oceans to direct, uninterrupted distribution.
